History
In 1979 “Unidad de Inmunologia y Reumatologia” begins working, thanks to the effort
of Ignacio Garcia de la Torre, MD. and Vera E. Valladares García, MD. The purpose of
the founders always was to offer Guadalajara the opportunity to find analysis with high
quality in the specialty of immunology, mainly important for the investigation and
diagnosis of immunologic and rheumatic diseases, but also as another way to perform
analysis in general.
Currently “Unidad de Inmunología y Reumatología” is recognized as the leading laboratory
in this specialty, not only in Jalisco, but in a great part of Mexico; trough the reference
service that it gives to other laboratories in agreement with it.
